LAFCON Update for Registrants!
We’re really excited that we have almost a month before the conference opens and over 500 library workers, supporters, and advocates have registered from all over the world so we wanted to give you a little update about the conference.
One of the big goals of this conference is to connect well-trained library advocates. That's why we would love for you to connect with each other before the conference. You can do that by showing that you are a participant by putting this badge on your social media profile. Then, when you see other people with the badge, feel free to connect!
If you haven’t checked out our lineup of content lately, you should take a look! We’ve added more speakers and sessions to this conference and there are more being added every week. We're even bringing in some bonus content that you won't want to miss out on.
Due to the quickly growing registration for this conference, we’ve switched our interactive conference platform. We won’t be using slack to connect all attendees anymore. Instead, we’ve built a unique conference environment where you will find a digital vendor hall, all of the sessions and bonus content, and where all of the attendees can connect and easily interact with each other and build their networks. You’ll receive a link to join this platform a few days before the start of the conference.
You can also engage with other attendees by using the conference hashtag #lafcon. We’d love to hear from you and find out more about your advocacy work!
Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you there!
