Register here to be a part of the Library Advocacy and Funding Conference to learn from the world’s best political consultants, organizers, operatives, and fundraisers to help you build local support for funding your library!
Over the last decade, libraries have lost nearly 20% of voter and political support for funding and revenue. This is an alarming statistic considering that more than 98% of public library funding is decided by voters and politicians. At the same time, school library programs have been cut to the bone and school librarianship is extremely vulnerable. That means that without rebuilding support, libraries will continue to drastically lose funding in the coming years.
This is why we have developed the Library Advocacy and Funding Conference. Join us online from September 14-16, 2020 to learn how to navigate the world of politics and build voter support for library funding. You will meet some of the most advanced political strategists and tacticians in the field today. This will be a unique opportunity to get the skills you need to build local support for funding your library.
With so much on the line, you literally can’t afford to miss out on this conference!
Proceeds from this conference are dedicated to building the advocacy ecosystem for libraries in the US and abroad. We will donate 25% of every registration to state library associations (or a national library association if outside the United States) in order to help these associations weather difficult financial times. Another 25% of your conference registration is put to work through EveryLibrary on direct political advocacy and initiatives like ballot measures and legislative advocacy, while 25% will go to research, training, and voter education through the EveryLibrary Institute, a 501c3 non-profit. The final 25% will be used to offset the cost of the conference and to pay staff and presenters.
Don’t miss out on this one of a kind conference!
