A Game Changer For Libraries

EveryLibrary is fortunate to have donors from every state in the country. Are you one of them?

EveryLibrary is fortunate to have donors from every state in the country. It is humbling that our donors are concerned for libraries in places they have never visited, and for people they'll never meet. Our donors know that children are relying on libraries to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing way and that many small business owners and entrepreneurs need the resources that libraries provide so that they can get ahead. By being a donor, you allow us provide the political support for libraries that they need to ensure that they can continue to provide the services that their community members need to be successful. You are helping to ensure that millions of Americans have access to what they need to improve their lives.

We do this work in a number of ways. Our pro-bono consulting and support is critical advice for library staff who've never run an informational campaign before, and a key support to local volunteers who have the heart and the grit to campaign for their library, but who aren't politicians. Our donors also allow us to do something that is truly game-changing for our library campaigns. As a political action committee (501c4), EveryLibrary makes strategic donations directly to individual library campaigns to jump-start their Get Out the Vote efforts. We always ask a Yes campaign to fundraise locally to 'match' our donation, and then to put it to work on everything from yard signs to social media. Of course, we also work very hard to educate voters across the country about the importance of libraries. I'm proud that we can do all of this work with your support.

Folks like you donate to EveryLibrary because they believe in the work we do, and they know what our impact is. The average personal donation to EveryLibrary is almost $50 per year. This enables us to work for libraries on your behalf. Many of our donors make monthly donations of $5 or $10 a month and that's great because we get a lot done for libraries on $5 or $10 a month. With elections just around the corner, can you take the next step and either become a new donor or make a new or increased contribution today?

Best,

John Chrastka
