EveryLibrary and the EveryLibrary Institute believes continuing training and education is critical to the development of a strong professional community. We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all our conference attendees, and we believe strongly in supporting the diversity of our profession. To that end, we have created these guidelines to ensure that we are providing a harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, appearance, or other group status. Your anonymity will be protected should you feel it is necessary to remain anonymous.
Therefore, these behaviors are specifically prohibited:
- Harassment or intimidation based on race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, appearance, or other group status.
- Sexual harassment or intimidation, including unwelcome sexual attention, stalking (physical or virtual), or unsolicited physical contact.
- Threatening speakers or attendees either verbally or physically.
- Other behaviors deemed inappropriate to the spirit of this event.
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
As a conference on the cutting edge of advocacy and funding, we understand that there may be some discussion and disagreement concerning conference content. We expect all attendees to respect the differing opinions of their colleagues, vendors, and presenters. We encourage attendees to view this conference as an opportunity to experience sessions outside of their comfort zones and beliefs. All attendees are welcome to discuss their views of the conference content and express their opinions in a respectful manner.
All commentary in conference space or discussion boards will be moderated and any attendee attacking, harassing, or disrespectfully engaging others will be removed. Comments should also be relevant to the specific post to which they refer and we reserve the right to remove, or not post, comments unrelated to the mission of the conference. Spam, flaming, personal attacks, and off-topic comments are not permitted.
CONFERENCE MEDIA POLICY
This conference is a professional event and only those who have registered will be given access to the community channels and presentations. As an attendee, you understand that you will not record or share the conference content and presentations on public forums or with non-paying or non-attending colleagues, friends, or family. However, we do encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and revelations from conference sessions and discussions using the conference hashtag on social media. All conference media is property of EveryLibrary, the EveryLibrary Institute, and session presenters who have taken the time to prepare material for your consumption.

USE OF ATTENDEE CONTENT
As an attendee, you understand that your conference registration and attendance constitutes an agreement by the registrant to EveryLibrary and the EveryLibrary’s Institute, for the use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image, written content, or voice in photographs, electronic reproductions, and video, text, or audio recordings of conference events and activities.
USE OF CONFERENCE LOGO
You are welcome to share the conference logo, name, and branding as long as you agree to not take ownership of said content. All uses of the conference logo and intellectual property must be attributed to EveryLibrary, The EveryLibrary Institute, or the Library Funding and Advocacy Conference. You must present such material as originating from the conference or organizations. However, we take no responsibility for misuse or unauthorized use of conference materials, logos, or intellectual property and we reserve the right to ask for the removal of misused conference materials.
