All attendees will gain access to the world’s largest library advocacy network through the Library Advocacy and Funding Conference Slack channel. Through this channel you will have the opportunity to chat with presenters, vendors, and colleagues about the issues that matter and keep in contact with them for years to come. We want to build a community of highly trained advocacy professionals who understand the worlds of libraries and advanced political advocacy. The library profession will benefit from your shared expertise, training, and networking, and we’re excited to bring this opportunity to you. This Slack channel will remain open to all attendees between conferences to continue to grow the networking and collaboration.
During the conference week, Slack is also our vendor/exhibitor hall where you can engage with vendors and exhibitors in their exclusive exhibit channels. Many vendors are dedicated to providing special sessions, AMAs (ask me anything) with special guests, and more through this channel during the conference.
You will receive your invitation to the Slack channel 48 hours before the event so you can start networking and engaging with your friends and colleagues.
